CANCELLED Municipal Cybersecurity Best Practices Development

This initiative brings industry, government, and academic experts together with municipal leaders to collaboratively develop relevant cybersecurity best practices for municipalities. The outcomes of this event will not only provide municipal leaders with a practical set of best practices that they can apply in their context, but will contribute to a national level of published best practices available to all Canadian municipalities.

If you are a political, technical or administrative leader within a municipality of 10,000 to 25,000 and are interested in identifying practical steps you can take to improve the security and resilience of your municipality, we will be holding the first session at the Centre for International Governance and Innovation at the University of Waterloo on 26 March 2020. The total number of participants is capped at 80. So, if you are interested, please register as soon as possible because seats are limited.
